FG Polo made a strong start, taking early control of the match. Mekayial Sami converted a 30-yard penalty, followed by another successful penalty from Raul Laplacette, before Marcos Rivarola added a field goal to give FG Polo an early advantage.
BN Polo responded late in the first chukker, with Tito Ruiz Guinazu scoring a field goal to keep his team in contention.
In the second chukker, FG Polo extended their lead again through another 30-yard penalty by Raul Laplacette. However, BN Polo showed resilience as Lao Abelenda scored two quick field goals, narrowing the gap and bringing the score to a competitive 4–3.
