Bosnian professional boxer Haris Mešanović is steadily building his name in the regional and international fight scene. In an interview with Ahmed Vila for the Buzzer community, Mešanović reflected on his fifth professional boxing victory, achieved on short notice in Podgorica, Montenegro, and shared his long-term vision for world titles and crossover combat sports opportunities .
Mešanović revealed that he accepted the fight just one day before the event, a challenge that would test not only his physical preparation but also his discipline and mindset.
Despite limited preparation time, the Bosnian boxer entered the ring calm and focused. His opponent, Kuvač, was significantly more experienced and six kilograms heavier, yet Mešanović never allowed that to affect his confidence.
While still early in his professional career, Mešanović is clear about his ambitions. His ultimate dream is to fight for the biggest world titles, including the WBA belt, but he remains committed to a step-by-step approach.
His immediate focus is facing stronger opponents and earning opportunities within major boxing organizations, believing that challenging himself early will accelerate his rise toward title contention.
One of the more intriguing moments of the interview came when Mešanović openly expressed interest in bare knuckle boxing. After a lifetime in traditional boxing, the idea of competing without gloves is something that genuinely excites him.
With regional promotions such as FNC and other organizations expanding their combat sports events, Mešanović sees potential for growth and crossover exposure in the future.
Beyond the ring, Mešanović praised the Buzzer app for its role in helping athletes gain visibility, connect with sponsors, and promote their careers more effectively.
He emphasized that the relationship is mutual—fighters promote the platform, while the platform elevates fighters—calling it “prava priča” for the future of regional sports promotion.
As Ahmed Vila concluded, Mešanović is widely seen as an athlete capable of achieving big things for Bosnia and Herzegovina, not only in boxing but potentially across multiple combat sports disciplines.
With discipline, ambition, and a willingness to take the hard road, Haris Mešanović is positioning himself as one of the most promising names in the regional fight scene—and his journey is only just beginning.
