Al Ittihad SC's Matches Are Now Live on Buzzer

Football in the UAE’s lower divisions doesn’t always get the coverage it deserves. And that’s a big shame, considering many teams are playing good football, only that they don’t play in the country’s biggest stadiums for everybody to see. Only small committed local crowds get to see them play, leaving out a much wider audience of sports fans out there who would equally love to watch their games.

Al Ittihad Sports Club, based in Al Ain, is one of the clubs trying to change that, and this season, Buzzer is part of how they’re doing it. A small shift on paper, but one that changes who gets to watch.

A Young Club Building Something Real

Al Ittihad was founded in 2024, making it one of the new names in UAE football, which, if you follow closely, you would agree is often dominated by huge clubs, some with decades of history. Yet, a new side starting from scratch stands out.

What’s kept people paying attention is not even the club’s age, but the sense that Al Ittihad is doing things properly from the ground up. They have a genuine base in Al Ain, and the club’s home ground, Al Ghaf Stadium, has become a fixture for fans in the area. The atmosphere around matchdays reflects a club that has grown its support organically rather than through spectacle.

Fans want to see the club’s progress for themselves. They don’t just want to read about it after the fact.

Buzzer Joins the Journey

Starting this season, every Al Ittihad SC match streams through Buzzer Arena TV, as part of the club’s sponsorship and media programme for 2026/27. Fans can also chat with each other and react to matches in real time, courtesy of the social layer built into Buzzer.

For us, this partnership is a fit. Buzzer exists to bring local football to the people following it, not just those who make it to the stadium.

A club with Al Ittihad’s identity and a growing fanbase is the kind of story we want fans to watch unfold live, regardless of where they are, and not having to catch up on the story later.

It also showcases Al Ghaf Stadium to people who have never had a reason to visit Al Ain for a match. What used to be watched by whoever was in the stands is now shown to anyone with a phone, wherever they happen to be. And for a club still building its following, that matters big time just as much for the players putting in the work week in week out.

This time, they get to play in front of a bigger audience!

Part of a Wider Picture

Al Ittihad joins a growing list of UAE clubs streaming their matches on Buzzer Arena TV. This is part of a push to bring more of the country’s football to a live audience, the same way it’s done for established fixtures.

That coverage sits alongside the features fans already use elsewhere on Buzzer. These include chats and reactions (mentioned earlier), fan Karma, and the Athlete Badge system, which is a digital sports CV for players building their own portfolio in the game.
