ConnectCon 2026 successfully concluded in Sarajevo after three days filled with gaming, esports competitions, influencer appearances, technology showcases, and community activities that brought together thousands of visitors from across the region.
Held at the “Goran Čengić” sports hall from May 15 to May 17, the convention once again confirmed its position as one of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s leading digital entertainment and gaming events. Organized by the Association Center for Development and Promotion of New Technologies together with Esports Arena, ConnectCon combined gaming, technology, digital culture, and social interaction into a large-scale experience designed for all generations.
Throughout the weekend, visitors participated in esports tournaments, gaming activations, interactive experiences, and meet-and-greets with influencers and content creators, while the venue maintained a vibrant atmosphere packed with fans of gaming and digital entertainment.
One of the standout elements of this year’s edition was the “World of Possibilities 2026” initiative, focused on inclusion and equal participation for children and individuals with disabilities.
The program highlighted the importance of creating spaces where technology, gaming, and digital culture can connect communities and create opportunities for social interaction regardless of age or background. Through various activities and presentations, ConnectCon once again demonstrated that gaming events can carry strong social and educational value alongside entertainment.
ConnectCon 2026 featured a packed program across multiple gaming titles and entertainment zones, including competitions in Fortnite, FIFA, Tekken, Rally, and additional interactive activities designed for casual visitors and competitive players alike.
The convention also gathered numerous regional influencers and creators who spent the weekend engaging with audiences, producing content, and participating in live activities across the event floor.
As the event progressed, ConnectCon transformed Sarajevo into a dynamic center of gaming culture, esports, and youth-oriented digital entertainment, attracting visitors from different parts of the region and further strengthening the city’s growing esports presence.
