Buzzer Ads: Campaign Infrastructure Built for Real Budgets

Buzzer's Ads Console runs three campaign types, and each one is built for a different job.  None of it is designed for casual boosting, but rather for advertisers running structured campaigns against a defined budget and a defined goal.

Three Campaign Types, Three Jobs

  • Cost per Mille is positioned for brand awareness and audience reach.
  • Cost per Click is built for driving website traffic and testing creative.
  • Cost per Lead is built around website conversions and lead tracking, and it's the one where Buzzer diverges most from a standard social ad tool.

Lead Forms That Stay Inside the App

A CPL campaign on Buzzer keeps the entire lead form inside the app. Someone taps an ad, moves through a short multi-step form, and submits their details without being redirected to an external landing page.

The form builder supports custom questions specific to the offer, alongside standard contact fields, so a fitness brand can ask how often someone exercises before it asks for an email address. That's a different mechanic than most platforms offer, where a click typically hands the user off to a page outside the app entirely.

Ad Formats and Budget Control

The campaign builder covers four ad formats: Feed Posts, Reels and Story, Live Stream Full Size, and Live Stream Overlay.

Budget is set two ways at once, a daily spend limit and a total campaign ceiling, and scheduling runs down to the hour rather than the day.  For an advertiser running more than one campaign at a time, that level of control changes how tightly a spend plan can be managed.

Two more objective types, Installs and Acquisitions, will roll out soon.

Ads Inside the Games Hub

Buzzer's Games Hub, launched as part of the same update, gives advertisers a placement beyond the feed and live streams. Ads appear as pop-ups during breaks between rounds, not layered over active gameplay.

The Games Hub itself runs free arcade, puzzle, racing, and board titles with independent leaderboards, and Buzzer has tournament-style rewards coming for top players.

Boost Post for Existing Content

Brands and clubs that already have a post performing well organically don't need to build a full campaign to extend its reach. The Boost Post option handles straightforward amplification of existing content on its own.

Transparency, Both Ways

Targeting transparency sits on the user side of the product, not just the advertiser side. Anyone can tap "why am I seeing this ad" and get a direct explanation: relevance is based on activity, content, or location, and Buzzer does not share user conversations with advertisers.

Users can report an ad as irrelevant or inappropriate from that same panel.  For an advertiser evaluating the platform, that's a working signal of the audience data discipline the console runs on, not just a privacy footnote.

Billing and Credits

Billing runs through its own section: credit balance, a payment history log with paid or failed status per transaction, and a business info record for VAT and tax purposes.  Adding funds has a clear success confirmation, and a failed payment produces its own distinct screen rather than failing silently.

FAQ

Does a Cost per Lead ad send users off Buzzer to convert?

No. The form stays inside the app from tap to submission.

What ad formats are supported?

Feed Posts, Reels and Story, Live Stream Full Size, and Live Stream Overlay.

Can I promote a post without setting up a full campaign?

Yes, through Boost Post. It amplifies existing content directly, without building a campaign from scratch.

What targeting data does Buzzer share with advertisers?

Buzzer targets ads based on user activity, content, and location, and does not share user conversations with advertisers.

Buzzer has more than five million active users.  As Installs and Acquisitions come online, the platform's objective types will cover more of what a performance marketer already expects from other ad channels.
