Buzzer Now Has a Games Hub, and Tournaments Are Coming

There is a section of the Buzzer app that a lot of people haven't fully explored yet, and it might be the most addictive thing so far in our June 2026 update.

The Games hub is live inside the Explore section. You open it, you pick a game, and you play without leaving Buzzer. No redirects, no separate app, no account to create somewhere else. The whole thing runs inside the platform, powered by GoGetMo.

And that is just the beginning.

What's in the Games Hub Right Now

The current library covers several different categories, so there is something regardless of what you are in the mood for.

On the arcade side, Speedy Runner is exactly what it sounds like: a single-tap runner where timing is everything. Avoid obstacles, grab coins, survive as long as you can. Easy to pick up, hard to put down.

Battle Racing Stars sits in the sports category. It is a racing game built around characters from the Halfbrick universe, and the goal is to unlock and upgrade your way through it.

If puzzle games are more your speed, Om Nom Connect pairs you with Om Nom from Cut the Rope. The mechanic involves connecting pairs of identical elements to clear the grid, and the catch is that the line connecting them cannot be blocked by anything else. It sounds simple until you are staring at a board that clearly is not.

2048 Crazy Merge is another puzzle entry for people who like numbers and the creeping panic of a filling board. You have probably seen the concept before. The twist is keeping it under control long enough to matter.

For board game fans, Snakes and Ladders is in there. Classic format, nothing complicated about it.

Pocket Drift rounds things out on the sports side: a 3D drifting game where you collect coins on circuits and work on your technique.

Games are filtered by category (Sports, Arcade, Puzzle, Board, Casino) so you are not scrolling through everything to find what you want. Each game page shows screenshots, a description, and a Play button. Hit it, and you are in.

Leaderboards and What They Track

Different games on Buzzer have their own leaderboards. Weekly, monthly, and all-time are available, and you can switch between them inside the app at any point.

The weekly leaderboard runs Monday to Sunday and resets every Sunday night. The monthly one resets at the end of each month. All-time tracks exactly what it says.

The leaderboard shows the top players ranked by score, with profile photos, usernames, and point totals. The top three sit in a podium layout at the top (first, second, third), and the rest of the list runs below. If you are somewhere in the middle, you can scroll to find yourself.

This exists for every game independently. The person at the top of the Om Nom Connect leaderboard is not necessarily the same person leading in Speedy Runner. Each game has its own competitive track.

Tournaments: What's Coming

The leaderboards are already live. Tournaments are what comes next, and they build directly on top of the leaderboard infrastructure.

Here is how it works. Buzzer will announce a tournament for a specific game. When one is live, players compete on that game's leaderboard for the duration of the tournament. When it closes, the top three players win rewards for first, second, and third place.

Entry is free. You do not need to sign up for anything separate or pay to participate. If you are playing the game while a tournament is active, you are in it.

Tournaments will not run on every game simultaneously. Buzzer will select which game a given tournament runs on and announce it when it goes live. That means it is worth following Buzzer on social so you do not miss one.

The rewards themselves will vary by tournament. Sometimes that is cash, sometimes points, sometimes something else. The format is intentionally flexible so different tournaments can offer different things. What stays consistent is that first, second, and third place all walk away with something.

Why This Changes the App

Games on a sports social platform might seem like an unusual direction at first. But when you think about what Buzzer is actually for (giving sports fans and athletes a place to compete, connect, and engage), it starts to make a lot of sense.

The leaderboard is a competitive layer that makes casual gaming mean something. You are not just playing to pass time; you are playing to rank. And once tournaments are fully underway, you are playing for something real.

It is also one of the more accessible features Buzzer has added. You do not need to be a verified athlete or a club manager to get value out of it. You just need to open the app and play.
